On monday we started with trying a different computer with the highspeed camera because it takes a lot of time to handle the amount of data of the high speed captures. Due to the time constraints it would have benefitted us if the experiments took less time. Unfortunatly this didn’t work. However the new motiontracking camera setup worked better because the markers are now better in view of the camera, which will give us more reliable data.
Following we conducted experiments with new subjects with the method of 2 resolutions of 3 games, a total of 6 games per subject. After a few subjects we saw an other way to shorten the experiments. The time in between the actions in the movies of the games is rather long for the card game and drop test. We decided to edit the movies in the afternoon and render them again to have the time shortend. We hope this will benefit us in two ways. The experiments will take less time and we will get more data in that time.
Besides the experiments we also made a test movies from earlier experiments, combing two correspondig players in a virtual setting. This way you can see how the game play would have been as if in real life.
